A new pedestal design

Today we had a building class. During the class we were able to talk to our teachers and discuss the pedestal. There was a long discussion on how the building a big pedestal is not a good idea, because it will be expensive and also it will take too much space. The space that the pedestal was the main concern (and also the transportation of the installation to the location). Harry and Douwe suggested to us other designs:

Our main problem with this is the diagonal board. It is really necessary for our pedestal, otherwise, the user won't be able to see anything on the screen of the tablet.

After our conversation about how the pedestal has to look like, I created a new sketch and I also created a construction plan. I talked to my brother and he gave me advice for when we start building the installation, he also said that my construction plan is good and we should no have problems building the pedestal.

The pedestal will be cut in two parts and will be with detachable legs, this way it will not take that much space and we will be able to store it in university.
