Today Julia, Nina, Marije, Marijke and I went out in Enschede to do the Survey. We were advised by Johannes to go out on the street and ask the people the questions we have prepared in the online survey. He said that doing both (street Survey and online Survey) will do no harm.
Earlier today, we made changes in the Survey based on Johannes’s feedback. After the Survey was ready, we showed it to Johannes and he said that it is good and that the questions we ask are appropriate.
After the Survey was approved, we went out talking to people on the street.
We split into two groups – Julia and I, and Nina, Marije and Marijke. Our goal was to talk to at least 10 people – 2 per each team member.
It was harder than I thought. There were a lot of people on the market, and the Haverstraatpassage but most of them were either local or were not willing to talk to us.
After approximately 2 hours walking around, Julia and I managed to find 4 people to talk to. They were a good fit for our target group, and their answers were very helpful.
The next thing, that we are going to do, is to make an online version of the Survey and hopefully, we will get a high number of responses, that will help us out for the project.
