Week 3: prototype & brainstorm

We wanted to make a prototype this week. At work I have big plates of cardboard, so I bring that to school. Out of the cardboard we want to make de pedestal and the letters. Look how big the installation is going to be. I didn’t help with the prototype, 3 people were enough. I saw the pictures of the results and it looks amazing! It’s going to be a big installation. This is going to be a real challenge for us. That’s a good thing, because we all want to create something beautiful in a few weeks. Also it’s good to know were we put the sensors.

We also had a brainstorm session this week. We discussed about a few letters. We are a little bit stuck with the letter D. What are we going to do? I found something on pinterest with Marijke. It’s wood with beer caps in it. Maybe we could make holes in the letter. And you can make different designs with the beer caps. It looks cool and you can see were the letter stands for.
