Week 3: survey on the street

Marijke and I made a survey. It is a simple survey. We wanted to know what people think about our installation. We asked about age, gender, why visiting Enschede and ask about the different topics we want to present with our letters. The others are making the prototypes and we went to the city to ask people some questions. I don't like talking to unknown people and ask some questions. When I walk through the city and people come to me to sell and ask for something. I don't like that and often say no. I was a little afraid that people would say no and not want to answer our questions. We were both scared to talk to people. Once the first step has been taken, the rest also becomes easier. We asked them what they know about the topics and what their interests are. We asked around the 10 people and the meanings are so different. Most people are in Enschede for shopping. They also liked the events and restaurants/cafes. We have overcome our fear and afterwards it was not that bad!
