Week 5: Acquire De Broodbode as a Sponsor

This morning, Dzhulia and I went to De Broodbode, our partner shop, before the class, because in yesterday's demo, one of the other teams had said that they wanted to get sponsoring from De Broodbode. We think that this is not really cool, since De Broodbode is already our sponsor, and we wanted to go there as soon as possible, to make sure that we would be the ones who would get sponsored.

Yesterday after the demo, De Broodbode was already closed, so we went again this morning, at 10 am, right when the store opened. We found the store manager, Jordi, and approached him with our request. He still remembered my face because Marije and I had talked to him when we first wanted to ask him if we could put our installation in front of his store.

Jordi agreed to be our sponsor and we made the following agreement:

• We can store our installation inside the empty store next to De Broodbode. Apparently, some other teams do that as well.

• We can get sponsorship for our social media campaign, for example a free coffee or a free smoothie.

• We shall send an email to Jordi with the kind of sponsoring and the details that we have in mind.

In the evening, I wrote the email to Jordi, but I have not sent it yet. I am currently waiting for my team mates' feedback. I already received some helpful feedback from Dzhulia - she noticed that I forgot to mention that we wanted to display some of our flyers in De Broodbode.
