Week 5: Letters in illustrator 2

Today I finished all the letters in illustrator. I just need to divide them in files that have the same size as the wood plates we have for the lasercutter. The D and the first and the last E are not completely finished. I gave the second E the stars that need to be cut out for the night sky effect.

I still need to finish all the pieces that I need for the maze of the D.

For the first E I still need to make a mandala design that looks good with a music key on it and that is completely one piece when I lasercut it so that is doesn’t fall apart.

For the last E I still need the gears. I cannot lasercut the front of the E without knowing the size of the gears. Because I need to know where the gears are going to go to know where the holes need to be. The holes need to be in the exact right place so that I can attach the gears correctly.
