Week 5: Reminding De Broodbode

After this afternoon's class, Dzhulia and I went to our sponsor and partner shop De Broodbode, in order to catch up with Jordi, the store manager, on the terms of the sponsoring agreement.

When we entered the shop, it was relatively busy and we asked one of the employees for Jordi. As soon as he saw us, he said "You again?!" and it sounded angry. We explained to him that we were here to ask him if he had read the email and what he thought about the sponsorship conditions that we had in mind.

Jordi replied that he had not had time to read the email yet, and that he was going to do it today, tomorrow or on another day. Generally, he did not seem very happy to be bothered by us again. To sum it up, it is sort of a setback, especially since we wanted to start with the sponsoring next week. I don't get why he was so annoyed by it - it was not like we accused him of not having read our email, we just asked about the status quo.
