Dzhulia and I went to Hubo today to buy material for the pedestal. We walked 3 kilometers there and back, because I don't have a bike in enschede. Therefore we don't have to go to the gym today. Unfortunately I have a blister on my foot now, but that's okay.
We bought screws that we need for attaching the legs to the pedestal, nails, and wood glue. We also looked at mdf plates, how much it costs and how large the plates are. Because the wood that julia could get for free, the quality was too different. That was also the feedback from Harrie and douwe. We have to look for alternatives or come up with ideas to give the wood that we now have the same appearance. The mdf has a much better quality and is not as expensive as we thought. Maybe foil is an option, we also looked at that. what exactly we are going to do for the pedestal, we will discuss tomorrow.
Tomorrow we will pick up the plywood. So we asked the manager what time we could pick it up. Unfortunately he had the message that the plywood cannot be delivered tomorrow (wednesday 12 june). It could only delivered on Friday because of the Whitsun weekend. He will call me when it’s arrived and then pick it up! This delays our planning. We are going to discuss tomorrow how we will adjust the planning accordingly
