Week 7: soldering & building

Soldering

The soldering is not finished, so I helped Marije with soldering. The led modules had to be cut in a few peaches. Marije told me what to do, I will soldering. Also we had to make an extra plate to attach some things on. We got some explanation from Rene and we made some sketches. Marije made that plate.

Building

We finally started with building and making the letters together with Marije and Dhzulia. We did glue a part of the letters. We couldn’t glue them all. Marijke made a mistake with laser cutting and calculating. We partly assembled what that happened to.

Also I started this week with painting the letters with primer together with Dhzulia. There’s one problem, the primer has to dry for four hours. Once it has cured, an acrylic layer can only be applied. It’s time consuming and I Had to leave at 16.00.
