After the whole team showed the installation to the building teachers today, we had to tackle some tasks as a team. First of all, we did a scrum session, in which Marijke, Dzhulia, Nina and I were present. At the same time, Marije was in the FabLab laser cutting some materials for our letters, and Alex was at home preparing for an exam.

Regarding the scrum planning, we defined all the little tasks that we still had to complete in order to finish up the letters and the promotional materials. My task is to add them to the scrum board, since, for a better overview, we first wrote down the tasks in a shared Google Doc.

Then, I helped the building team with cutting some small strips in the workshop. It was kind of calming me down to work with wood and to use the saw. This week had been very stressful and I always have to use my brain but not so much my hands for my work, so it was a nice distraction. After that, I helped the others attach the small magnets that we have for closing the letters on the back to the small strips.

Another thing that happened today is that we have a rivalry with another team about the spot in front of the empty shop next to de Broodbode. Apparently, the other team cannot stand in front of their original shop because the installation of the Shape of Sound team is too big and they stand in front of the same shop, which is why the other team has to go.

I have always been annoyed by the situation that some teams were allowed to create huge installations but we weren't allowed, but now this situation also caused another team wanting to use the empty shop. My team already agreed with de Broodbode that we could use the empty shop two months ago. I don't think we should be the ones who have to look for another spot now. Nevertheless, since we really wanted to help the other team and get this situation settled, I sent an email to the store manager at de Broodbode, asking him if the other team could stand in front of de Broodbode and if we could use the empty shop then.
