Dzhulia made the design/layout for the maze on the D on the seventh of June. after she did this she sent me the file she made because I had to make the illustrator file with all the wood pieces to cut.

I could not do much with the file that she sent me because all the sides had diagonal parts and were all overlapping each other. This meant that I had to do it all over again but then I a way that I could measure them right afterwards.

So I made the design again, but this time with straight lines and in a way that all the pieces were touching each other but not overlapping.

After I was finished with this I could start writing down all the different sizes I need. This went wrong a couple of times because sometimes I misted a piece and sometimes I counted one piece twice. After I realized that the way I was doing it did not work I changed my strategy.

First I divided al the diagonals in groups of 10. After this I did the same for the horizontal parts. Then I could write down all the sizes of each group. This worked right away.

I wrote all the different sizes we need for the maze down yesterday. Today I made all the pieces in illustrator.

All the other things for the maze I did after Dzhulia was done with the design and before today. I don’t exactly remember when I did what.
