Today, we had a sprint planning session with Yvens that we had rescheduled from Monday this week. We didn't really know what a sprint planning session in the middle of the sprint was going to be good for, but it turned out to be really useful.
Counting Points in "To Do" and "In Progress"
The first thing Yvens wanted us to do was to write down the sum of everyone's scores in the "To Do" and "In Progress" status in the scrum board. By this, he wanted to check who had how many tasks to do at the moment.

When you look at the overview of everyone's "To Do" and "In Progress" points, it becomes evident that the distribution is relatively equal, which is good. In the beginning of the sprint session, though, Marije had 69 points in "In Progress" and Yvens found that very critical. He said that we gave Marije too many tasks that she could impossibly handle alone. However, it turned out that we had accidentally created one and the same task twice in the scrum board, and that some of her tasks where still in "In Progress", although they could have already been moved to "Done".
Planning for the Last Week
For Week 9, Yvens advised us to make a very meticulous plan for all the small tasks that still need to be completed. This is a very good idea, since we are losing the overview of the small but important details that make the difference between finishing the project on time. We are therefore going to schedule a sprint planning session for Friday after the building class.
