Week 8: thursday

We had to attach the letters to the pedestal and make holes in it. So we measured the whole pedestal and calculated where the letters must stand. Everything was messerinhed out and than we release that the pedestal stands wrong. The first part was the last part! So we had to do that again. Luckily we found this mistake on time.

Also the letters needed 2 holes on the underside. Nina had a good method. Making crosses, then you have the middle from the letter and then making new crosses and then you have the spots for the holes. It's easier than al measuring it out. After that we made first hols in the letters. Because of this we knew better where to put the holes on the pedestal. We marked it with paint. We made the holes in the pedestal and attached the letter to it. It fits perfectly! Dzhulia and Nina getting a heart attack because they put the H on the place of the C. That didn't fit, but we fixed that to put the right letter on it.

We had to made small peaches of wood for the magnets. The magnets are for the back part to attach. We saw all of the parts and tested it with tape and magnets. We glued it and we tested with a hammer put the magnets in the wood. The wood broke, so we are going to stick on the glue.
