The last but not the least task that I had to complete regarding the content of the website was the Evening page. It shows the best spots in Enschede for the nightlife.
Research
As usual, the first thing on my to-do list was the research. My research sources were uitinenschede.nl, tripadvisor.com and the good old Google search. I first wrote down all the night venues that I found in an Excel spreadsheet until my search on different websites did not reveal any new results. Then, for each venue, I searched its homepage/Facebook page, which also allowed me to check if the respective venue still existed. With the help of the homepages and uitinenschede.nl, I was able to translate the information I found into English, and then I changed or shortened this information where needed. The same information as on the other informational pages is presented on the Evening page: Name, location, image, text and link to the website as well as a link to the navigation with the Google Maps API.
Programming
I used the code that I had already used with the previous informational pages. The nightlife page has two categories: bars & pubs and dancing. The categories partially overlap. When a category is selected, its corresponding results appear on the page. When you click the "read more" button, the informational text with the buttons "Visit website" and "Show route" is displayed and can be discarded again by clicking on the X icon.
