Week 2

This is a week full of discussing and making decisions. We start with talking about what we all have worked at the weekend. The designers showed their logo's ideas and the technies talked about their ideas about the input and output of the installation. We didn't chose a logo or really discussed about the ideas, what I found a bit disappointing but also understandable. We don't have a name, moodboard and stylesheet so it's hard to make / decide on a logo.

After that we talked about names for our installation. We choose: MyEnschede.

Also I started with the 3D model of our installation to give a good visualisation of our idea. I'm happy to do this, although it is a lot of work.

We got more feedback on our idea and a lot of the teachers say it will be difficult to build everything so that's a bit worrying. Some teachers suggest to do it digital instead of physical, but we don't really like that idea. So we are sticking with making it all physical, but because of all the worries we are going to make some things easier. We decided that we are not going to make the H rotate, it will be a lot of work and we decided that we are going to use a led strip instead of all the little led lights in the S and the D.

Now we are a bit more confident, but still it still will be a lot of work to finish it.

On Thursday we made the design document and had a guest lecture.

In the weekend I worked on the 3D model, I struggled a lot with the handle on the last E, but after a lot aof research and trying, it worked!
